Advanced Geo-Location: Understanding the Retail Trend

Location-based technology has moved far beyond the sci-fi what if and into the brick-and-mortar what is. As location-based interaction gains acceptance with  shoppers retailers are still struggling with how best to leverage the technology to bolster engagement.
 
At Engage! 2015, Asif Khan, founder and president of the Location Based Marketing Association will guide attendees through real-world case studies that showcase new technologies and methods that expand the horizons of geo-location marketing both inside and outside the store.
 
Khan is a renowned global speaker, author and serial entrepreneur. He is currently focused on working as a consultant and venture capitalist to the location-based marketing services community.  In support of this, Asif formed the Location Based Marketing Association - an international group dedicated to research and education in the space. 
 
Prior to launching The LBMA, Asif built four start-ups and worked with companies as diverse as Limited Brands, IBM, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Molson-Coors, BestBuy, American Airlines, Cineplex Entertainment, ING Bank, Vroom & Dreesman and L’Oreal.
