Apparel's 2005 Business & Technology Outlook Webcast, which featured several expert opinions on expectations for next year, is available for replay via www.apparelmag.com for those who were not able to participate in the live event last month.

The hour-long free online educational event was produced by Apparel and sponsored by Jesta I.S. on Oct. 12 and will remain accessible online through mid-January.

In the Webcast, Retail Forward's senior economist Frank Badillo explored the major retail and economic trends that will affect the apparel industry in 2005 and beyond, including the end of quotas as well as issues related to pricing, exchange rates and key retail initiatives.

Jud Early, corporate vice president of research and development for the Textile/Clothing Technology Corp. [TC]2, presented an overview of key technology areas in which the industry can expect to see some interesting advances in the next year.
