AT&T Pilots Microsoft Surface

Select AT&T retail stores have added the unique and fun Microsoft Surface, a 30-inch table-like display that allows shoppers to interact with devices and content in a way that feels familiar. Customers use touch and gestures to place devices on the display. Interactive touch displays allow customers to review features of their selected mobile device. Customers also can place two devices side by side on the unit and easily compare features. Stores in New York City, Atlanta, San Antonio and San Francisco piloted The Surface in April 2008 with future rollouts being determined based on success and learnings from the initial pilot deployments.
