Best Buy Realigns Leadership Team
Best Buy appoints Darren Jackson to the newly-created position of executive vice president, Customer Operating Groups. Jackson previously served as the company's chief financial officer for the past seven years and more recently, CFO and head of the company's Emerging Business unit. In his new role, Jackson will lead Best Buy's entertainment, PC mobility and home software operating groups and also oversee enterprise merchandising. Prior to joining Best Buy, Jackson served as vice president and CFO of Nordstrom's full-line store division. Jim Muehlbauer replaces Jackson as Best Buy's interim CFO.
