Building Loyalty without a Rewards Program

By Tim Denman - 07/21/2014
The cost of acquiring new customers is growing ever higher. To nurture cost-effective growth retailers are increasingly turning their attention to loyalty building, but rewards programs are not for every retailer. How can retailers build and maintain loyalty without a points-based reward program?

At Engage! 2014, Kim Lewis, CRM director, Golfsmith International will explore the myth that you need a points program to build loyalty — she believes every retailer can create a loyalty strategy with or without one.  The "Nurturing Loyalty without a Rewards Program" session will examine the truths and myths around loyalty marketing today.

Lewis and her team are responsible for consumer research and insights, marketing analytics, and CRM strategies to drive incremental transactions and customer profitability while building long-term customer relationships.

Engage! 2014 will be held October 8-10, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The conference will feature keynotes from retail thought leaders, peer-to-peer exchanges, a golf outing, and relationship building.
