Channel Convergence: Challenges and Opportunities
Omnichannel, or whatever you call it, is revolutionizing retail and creating enormous pressures, and even the savviest of retailers are still learning how to handle the new reality.
At the Retail Executive Summit, Rajeeve Kaul, former SVP, OfficeMax Workplace, Office Depot/Max will lead a closed-door session titled "Channel Convergence." In the session retailers will talk frankly among themselves about their challenges and opportunities with e-commerce platforms, cross-channel transaction engines, creating a single view of the customer, removing silos, integration efforts across channels, and more.
Kaul joined OfficeMax in 2011 as senior vice president of strategy and pricing. In his role, he had full responsibility for developing go to market strategies to drive gross margin for the company. He has a proven track record of growing margin and unlocking value by focusing on strategy and analytics to gain insights and drive business decisions.
