Childrensalon Launches Sleek New Site to Match Designer Duds

Childrensalon, an online merchant of designer apparel for kids, has expanded its rich knowledge of the children's fashion industry to its new content-rich website that also adopts a fully-responsive design.

Its in-house team of fashion editors, stylists and content marketers will update the re-vamped site weekly with seasonal trends, prestigious interviews, designer features, videos and guest edited bespoke boutiques. The user experience has also been upgraded with a sleeker, seamless design and the introduction of state-of-the-art responsive technology, ensuring the same great experience regardless of device, environment or behaviour.

Speaking about the new site, digital & brand director Sorcha Harriman-Smith said, "We ramped up our in-house team with editors, stylists, UX and CX architects and digital marketers to create a site that is beautiful, inspiring and exceptionally functional across all devices."

With more than a million unique visitors to the site each month, Childrensalon's audience is as impressive as its growth rates, turning over £28.5 million last year with a forecast of £42 million for 2015. Adopting e-commerce as early as 1999, the company now offers more than 270 of the world's most desirable brands from its award-winning website to a global audience in more than 130 countries.

"We've already seen staggering growth this year, especially since launching our mobile-optimised site, which has almost doubled in conversion rate. We already have a lot of other exciting projects on the horizon," adds Sorcha.

The release of the Tiny Times, the company's brand new blog, marks an exciting new chapter too. Documenting the latest news and trends in childrenswear, informative how-to's and more, it is a space to delve deeper into what makes Childrensalon and the art of dressing children beautifully so special.
