Cisco Unveils In-Store Mobility Systems

Cisco releases two In-Store Mobility systems. The In-Store Mobile Voice software provides store employees with Unified Wireless IP Phone 7921G handsets allowing employees access to information and in-store communication capability. The In-Store Personal Shopper is an interactive shopping cart with video display that features promotion delivery, shopping lists generation, price-checking and store navigation to the shopper. The In-Store Personal Shopper incorporates MediaCart Software, which uses RFID to determine a customer's location and deliver targeted advertising to the shopping cart at points where featured products are located. The system also creates advertisement returns performance reports and generates customer buying patterns.
