Cole Haan Caters to On-the-Go Customers With Apple Pay

American footwear brand Cole Haan incorporated Apple Pay™ into its mobile app, enabling shoppers to complete purchases with one touch. Cole Haan is the first lifestyle brand to adopt this contactless payment technology within a single branded application experience.

Cole Haan partnered with  mobile commerce platform PredictSpring to build the Cole Haan iPhone, iPad and Android mobile apps, which offer an elevated brand experience through visually rich user-generated content. Notable features include Shop the Look, allowing consumers to shop directly from the Cole Haan Instagram feed, as well as geofencing technology that alerts consumers to nearby Cole Haan stores.

Cole Haan has a rich heritage of innovation and continually takes strides to revolutionize the footwear industry. With the introduction of ZeroGrand, Grand.OS and the opening of The Global Innovation Center, this is Cole Haan's next big step in its continued effort to creatively disrupt the marketplace, especially with the unquestionable shift to mobile. The latest company insights indicate that approximately half of Cole Haan traffic is from mobile devices, with a significant amount coming from smartphones.
