Collective Brands Inks New Distribution Deal in Philippines

As part of its international growth strategy to expand the company's global footprint for all its brands and businesses and to meet growing international demand for its iconic lifestyle brands, Collective Brands, Inc. announced that its Performance + Lifestyle Group (PLG) has signed a wholesale distribution agreement with Iconic Advantage to broaden the reach of its Keds fashion sneaker brand and to launch the Saucony running brand and Sperry Top-Sider nautical lifestyle brand in the Philippines market.

Iconic Advantage, headquartered in Manila, is a licensee, distributor and retailer of international footwear and apparel brands with more than two decades of experience launching and distributing global brands in the Philippines market. The company has a strong national network of hundreds of points of sale, 20 wholly owned retail stores, and is a leading shoe provider for all major department stores across the country. The Philippines is a new market for Sperry and Saucony footwear products; Keds has been available in a limited manner in the country for a few years.

The wholesale agreement is a multi-year deal. Additional terms were not disclosed.
