5/14/2012
Seeking to optimize its growing multi-channel supply chain network, The Container Store has selected several solutions from the Manhattan Associates SCOPE portfolio. The retailer is in the process of expanding its 720,000-square-foot distribution center to 870,000 square feet to accommodate its expanding supply chain.

The 54-store retailer has selected Manhattan's Warehouse Management, Slotting Optimization and Labor Management solutions from the Distribution Management suite, along with Yard Management from the Transportation Lifecycle Management suite. Other purchases include several supply chain solutions (Intelligence, Visibility and Event Management) along with Manhattan's Distributed Order Management solution.

"We are excited to be enhancing our multi-channel retail processes by upgrading our supply chain operations to better serve our customers, as well as our network of vendors and partners," said Container Store logistics systems director Christy Parra in a statement. "The multi-channel customer is the most valuable customer for us."
