CORDURA® Introduces New Fabrics to Market
Invista recently debuted the newest addition to its CORDURA® NYCO fabric Portfolio, CORDURA® Duck fabric. Based on an intimate blend of cotton and INVISTA’s T420 Nylon 6,6 staple fiber, the fabric is specifically designed for comfort and exceptional abrasion resistance.
Other new CORDURA fabrics include, from Dong Jin International Corp., 315/500D BOX-RIP CORDURA® fabric, based on INVISTA’s 315D “air bag” fiber technology in combination with 500D CORDURA® Classic fabric technology. This hybrid fabric offers light weight strength and exceptional durability for bag, pack, and accessory applications.
From Tweave LLC come five new stretch CORDURA® Classic fabrics that combine 330D, 500D and 1000D CORDURA® Classic fabric technology with spandex and LYCRA® fibers to offer exceptional tear and abrasion resistance, as well as long-lasting durability.
