Dell, SAP Partner to Improve Retail Operations
Dell partners with SAP to simplify information technology for retail operations. Under the terms of the agreement, Dell will team up with SAP to offer integrated point-of-sale (POS) store software, which allows retailers to utilize SAP for Retail software on Dell's Retail OptiPlex 745 POS systems and Dell PowerEdge servers. Enhanced POS features include customer demand data, real-time inventory visibility and integrated returns processing. The partnership helps enable retailers to better track purchase behaviors, identify buying trends and process customer transactions at a faster rate.
