Digital Convergence Forum to Spotlight Trends, Strategies in Digital Transformation

3/29/2017
GS1 US® is hosting the Digital Convergence Forum, an exclusive event from June 21–22, 2017 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The forum provides marketing and technology executives an opportunity to discuss trends, strategies and success models for navigating the digital transformation of commerce.

Executives from corporations including Google, McKinsey & Company, Nielsen, Target, Tumi and Walmart will share strategic approaches to the Internet of Things, blockchain, contextual commerce and real-time consumer engagement. Attendees will develop actionable insights for exceeding consumer expectations, building brand loyalty and effectively connecting digital and physical product experiences.

Additionally, the Digital Convergence Forum will feature Robert Tercek, digital futurist and digital media pioneer, as host and moderator. Tercek is known for helping organizations navigate through massive changes. In his 22-year career, Tercek has launched several startup ventures and served in executive leadership roles at major media companies. He is the author of Vaporized: Solid Strategies for Success in a Dematerialized World in which he takes readers inside the digital revolution and shows how every industry as we know it will be transformed by technology.

"The Digital Convergence Forum is an interactive think-tank experience for executives currently navigating digital transformations within their organizations and ultimately redefining commerce," said Bob Carpenter, president and CEO of GS1 US. "Whether their imperatives are centered on uniquely identifying products, or how to engage consumers in real time, attendees can expect to learn technology strategies from market leaders that yield results."

"Consumers and businesses alike need to brace themselves for unprecedented change," said Tercek. "Retail stores, physical products and corporations are about to be vaporized and replaced by digital information. After attending the Digital Convergence Forum, today’s technology leaders will have expanded insights that enable them to more readily adapt to change."

While the Digital Convergence Forum is co-located with GS1 Connect 2017, separate registration is required. Seating is limited.
