Digital Disrupters: An RIS Board Member Discussion

Digital technology continues to act as a disruptor to the retail industry. As new digital initiatives appear both online and in-store retailers must be able to identify the next big thing and be among the first to offer the technology in order to differentiate themselves.

At Engage! 2015, four key member of the RIS News; Editorial Advisory Board will take to the stage to discuss the Internet of Things, iBeacons, location-based marketing, mobile payment technology and more, and offer their unique perspective from the field.

The not-to-be-missed session will be hosted byRobert Fort the interim CIO at BCBGMaxAzriaGroup. Fort is an internationally recognized and awarded IT innovator and leader with over 30 years of progressive IT and senior/C-level management experience. Joining Fort on stage will be Stephen Katsirubas, Kim Lewis and Luis Paez.

Katsirubas is the CIO at Crocs Inc. He has numerous achievements in developing and implementing leading technologies, consistent record at improving customer engagement, coupled with an ability to improve processes through well executed change.

Lewis is the senior director of CRM of Golfsmith International and is a dynamic marketing and strategy leader with proven experience in cross-functional planning, CRM, retail loyalty programs, marketing technology implementations, direct mail, online and email marketing, e-commerce, and customer service management. 

Paez is the CIO of Perry Ellis International where he works closing with business management in all segments. Under his guidance, PEI has merged nine major acquisitions into its best of breed systems.

The 2nd annual Engage! event will be held September 9-11, 2015 at the Ritz Carlton in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
