DXL President & CEO to Keynote Apparel Executive Forum

David Levin, president and CEO of Destination XL Group (DXL), will open the 16th annual Apparel Executive Forum, set for Oct. 5-7, 2016 at the Ritz-Carlton in Ft. Lauderdale.

At the Forum, which has a theme of "Doubling Down on Innovation," Levin will share the story of the transformation of this prominent retail brand. Levin is leading his company through a complete rebranding, from Casual Male to DXL ? an intricate process that involves introducing big-and-tall guys to the new brand without losing loyal customers, while also growing the business through smart use of technology and expansion well beyond its private-label goods to brands such as Polo, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, True Religion, Lucky and Brooks Brothers.

The Forum, hosted and produced by Apparel Magazine, attracts senior-level apparel brands, retailers and manufacturers with a networking-rich agenda, including high-level keynotes, interactive panel discussions and One-On-One meetings with fellow attendees, designed to provide expert-led, insightful content and clear takeaways.

Among the other speakers to date are: Special highlights for the 2016 event include AEF University, featuring an array of interactive, topic-right workshops and peer-to-peer discussions; a panel discussion focused on the success stories from Apparel's 2016 Top Innovators; as well as an evening recognizing Apparel's Top Innovators featuring Kai Kight, composer, motivator and innovator.

Sponsors to date include Premium Sponsors, Dematic and Sunrise Technologies; Social Media Sponsor, SDI; Gold Sponsors Gerber Technology and JustEnough; and Silver Sponsor, K3 Software Solutions.

Registration is complimentary for qualified apparel brand, retail and manufacturing executives at apparelmag.com. Or contact Susan Nichols at [email protected] to learn more about attending or sponsoring the event.
