eOne, Evy of California Partner on Peppa Pig Apparel

Entertainment One Family (eOne) inked a new licensing agreement with Evy of California, a junior's and girl's fashion label, to develop a new line of Peppa Pig-themed apparel for girls. The first collection is scheduled to debut in select mass and specialty retailers across the U.S. in Spring 2013.

The new line, which will include t-shirts, sportswear and dresses for girls ages 2 years old to 5 years old, aims to capture the cheeky style of Peppa, the loveable star of the hit animated television show for preschoolers, Peppa Pig. Designs will feature sweet and playful details, such as 3D bows and flowers, flutter sleeves and glitter.

"Peppa has already shown strong signs of resonating with the American customer and, as we build out the offering over the next several months, we are confident we will see sustained growth and increased momentum," said Kevin Krieser, president, Evy of California.

Evy of California owns and operates five brands including Fleurish Clothing, a junior department store brand comprising tops and dresses; California Talk, a girl's fashion top and sleepwear collection; Denial, a boy's tee and fashion line; and Kidture, a little sister sportswear line. The apparel company also holds licensing agreements for leading brands such as Hello Kitty, Disney Princesses and Fairies, Minnie Mouse and Boo the World's Cutest Dog.

Since its US debut in 2011, the Peppa Pig brand has built momentum across multiple product categories, securing licenses with publishing powerhouses Scholastic and Candlewick Press, as well Fisher Price, the leading brand of infant and preschool toys. The popular toy line includes playsets, figures and plush dolls.

The Peppa Pig brand has also expanded its US digital presence with two DVD's, Muddy Puddles and Other Stories and Flying a Kite and Other Stories, and the launch of the first ever Peppa Pig US app, "Peppa Pig Happy Mrs. Chicken," from leading interactive publisher P2 Games. In addition, the brand maintains the Peppa Pig website (www.peppapig.com) and Facebook page (Facebook/officialpeppaPigUS).
