Everest Software Inc., a provider of business operating systems for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced a partnership with TrueCommerce to offer the latter's EDI capabilities.
Through the partnership, the Everest Software platform will integrate with the True Commerce solution, which is designed to provide small- to mid-tier companies with a comprehensive and cost-effective EDI solution that is easy to implement.
According to Everest Software, a main benefit of the partnership is that it enables SMBs to eliminate most manual processing for drop shipments from suppliers. Everest customers can now submit drop-ship purchase orders to vendors electronically, using the technology vendors prefer. Through the integration, EDI transactions flow through the Everest system with a point-and-click interface.
