Finotex USA Corp. has introduced its now certifiable recycled polyester labels as part of its GREEN WORLD line of products.
Finotex has partnered with Unifi, producer of Repreve, to offer this new product. The recycled polyester labels are made out of fibers that have been elaborated from recycled materials such as post-industrial fiber waste and post-consumer plastics. Made from Repreve yarn, these labels aid the planet by conserving resources such as newly refined crude oil. Producing 1 million 100 percent recycled polyester labels would save 31,065,500 BTUs of energy and 690 lbs. of solid waste from being produced.
