Former Sears eCommerce Exec to Keynote Apparel's Executive Forum

Mercedes De Luca, most recently vice president and general manager of eCommerce for Sears Holdings Corporation, will give the day two keynote at Apparel's 14th Annual Executive Forum, taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

De Luca, a leading executive in the high tech industry with a solid track record of delivering innovative Internet consumer products to drive e-commerce sales and engagement, will explore the new and ever-evolving landscape of fashion "upstarts" – regardless of platform. Her session, "Fashion Upstarts: Are They Wowing Customers Better Than You Are?," will center on what consumers are expecting in order to be "WOW'ed;" what executives can learn from these models and their commonalities; what successes can be adapted/applied while avoiding the pitfalls; and an exciting glimpse into the future of fashion.
A fashion technology enthusiast, De Luca also has served as CEO of My Shape Inc. and as vice president of global information technology for Yahoo.
