Stephanie Silvestre will be taking on the role of SVP, supply chain and operations strategy at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits effective July 1.
The company recently launched a 10-year supply chain and operations transformational vision and strategy. Silvestre will oversee efforts that look to modernize the supply chain and operations space through world-class capabilities for customer and supplier partners, focusing on sustainability and value creation.
Silvestre will report to Bobby Burg, senior vice president and chief supply chain officer.
“Stephanie is not only extremely knowledgeable in the supply chain and operations space, but also in empowering her team to drive significant impact,” said Bobby Burg. “Stephanie’s incredible experience and leadership skills have fully equipped her to execute Southern Glazer’s Supply Chain & Operations vision and strategy, and I can’t wait to see all that she achieves in her new role.”
Silvestre previously served as SVP of supply chain at Southern Glazer’s, having been with the company since 2011. She was an inaugural member of the company’s Exceptional Leadership Program, Southern Glazer’s leadership development program.
“We are deeply committed to investing in supply chain innovation to provide Southern Glazer’s partners with the most agile, collaborative, and sustainable service possible,” said Wayne E. Chaplin, CEO, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. “We’re proud to have Stephanie lead the charge on this important transformation, and to both lead and set the standards for the future of supply chain and operations.”
Drew Vermilion will be taking on Silvestre’s previous role. Vermilion joined Southern Glazer’s in 2005 and served as VP of replenishment, logistics, and analytics in his most recent role.
