Garnet Hill, Peter Millar Choose Pointcarre

Apparel and home furnishings catalog Garnet Hill, which has grown from a small mail order business to a multi-million-dollar corporation, has selected Pointcarré's CAD solution to help increase productivity in its design room, adding speed and accuracy to the design process by eliminating low-level tasks and allowing designers to concentrate on creativity.

 

Additionally, designer of high quality resort and golf wear Peter Millar has selected Pointcarre CAD software to ensure that that quality translates from the design process to production.

 

In other Pointcarre news, the company has introduced Cameleon, a new crossplatform version of its design software that is able to run on any Mac or PC system.

 

The software is intended for use in creating prints, knits, woven, dobby, jacquard, texture mapping and embroidery designs, and includes many new, user-requested features.

 

Technical information created in the system as the pattern is designed can be sent directly to mills for production.
