Canadian discount retailer Giant Tiger Stores Limited is enhancing its digital retail presence with a new mobile app, which will offer a multilingual shopping experience to engage mobile shoppers.
The new experience is tailored to both loyalty program members and everyday shoppers, and is available now for English and French language shoppers.
By 2021, mobile e-commerce sales are expected to account for 34% of total retail e-commerce sales in Canada, according to Canada Post’s 2019 eCommerce Benchmark Report. Giant Tiger recognizes shoppers’ habits are changing and that having an engaging mobile experience is critical in an omnichannel world.

Giant Tiger has partnered with Mercatus on the mobile deployment, which will support and maintain the application and act as Giant Tiger’s mobile solution provider.
