Grocer Consum Deepens Personalization Efforts

Spanish grocer Consum Cooperativa Valenciana has tapped Algonomy to drive its omnichannel personalization and real-time customer engagement efforts.

As a leading supermarket retailer since 1975, Consum Cooperativa Valenciana is the largest cooperative of the Spanish Mediterranean area, with over 790 stores and 3.5 million customers. It deployed Manthan’s Omnichannel Customer Engagement platform covering Customer Data Platform and Omnichannel Journey Orchestration. Cognodata, a provider of applied AI in customer science, served as the implementation partner.

Algonomy, previously Manthan-RichRelevance, leverages its real-time CDP with built-in audience activation and OOTB algorithms to develop a unified customer snapshot for personalized marketing across online and offline channels. The journey-based campaign orchestration platform can be used for email, mobile notifications, websites, SMS, direct mail and call center campaigns, and is designed to drive real-time event-based retargeting, and optimized orchestration with test and control to measure incremental sales.
