HSNi CIO Creates Boundary-Less Retail

The 2013 Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit is just around the corner, kicking off on Thursday, September 26 with an Opening Keynote presentation from Karen Etzkorn, EVP and CIO for HSNi.  In the presentation, Etzkorn will discuss the key elements in HSNi's "boundary-less" retail approach, including insights from data, engagement, trust, collaboration and innovation. The retailer's digital gamification strategy, which includes the HSN Arcade gaming portal and an active social media presence, is generating fast-growing sales via the Web, mobile and table – all while driving consumer excitement and engagement with the brand.
 
Today's consumers shop when, where and how it's most convenient for them. They have no boundaries, and neither does HSNi. The retailer has evolved into an integrated network of experiences that combine content, community and commerce through TV, online and mobile. HSNi no longer uses the term "channel" to describe any aspect of its business model. The seventh annual Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit (CCRES) will be held September 25 – 27, 2013 at the Four Seasons in Dallas, Texas.
