Instacart will offer grocery delivery in 30 minutes in some markets as part of a new Priority Delivery experience.

Priority Delivery will initially be available in more than 15 of the largest cities in the U.S., including Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. It will be offered through over 300 store locations, such as Ralphs, Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market and Stater Bros.

After the initial launch, Instacart plans to bring 30-minute delivery to more cities across more retail stores over the coming months.

It’s also expanding 45-minute and 60-minute delivery service in more cities.

The company said it’s adding new product experiences to streamline shopping from the Instacart marketplace and enabling users to more easily identify the retailers and fastest delivery windows available in an area. For example, a new lightning bolt icon indicates to consumers that a delivery window is the fastest one available, a feature that’s updated in real time.

Instacart, which is currently available to 85% of U.S. households and 70% of Canadian households, partners with more than 600 national, regional and local retailers, delivering from nearly 55,000 stores across more than 5,500 cities in North America.
