June Smartphone-driven Revenue Jumps 110 Percent Year Over Year

The exclusive worldwide data sample pinpoints consumer mobile commerce use and identifies global trends reporting smartphone-generated traffic, orders, and revenue by consumers to retailer smartphone-optimized websites.

In June 2014, smartphones generated 34.4 percent of total online visits (61.9 percent iOS, 37.3 percent Android) representing a market share increase of 43.3 percent from June 2013. Meanwhile, the market share of non-mobile (desktop/laptop) visits decreased 19.0 percent from June 2013 to June 2014.
