Justin Mennen Snags a Top CIO Position
Rite Aid Corporation has named Justin Mennen, a seasoned technology and digital leader with more than 20 years of technology leadership experience, as its new senior vice president and chief information officer.
Mennen will be responsible for all aspects of the company's technology and information operations, including enterprise systems and applications, network, core infrastructure and information security as well as the continued development and execution of Rite Aid's immediate and long-term information technology strategy. Mennen will report to Darren Karst, Rite Aid's senior executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer.
"Justin is a highly experienced leader with a successful track record in creating, driving and delivering value and results through innovative technology and digital solutions," said Karst. "His experience will be extremely valuable to Rite Aid as we look to strengthen and modernize the company's infrastructure to enable growth, drive efficiencies across the company and enhance the experiences of our valued customers and associates."
Mennen joins Rite Aid from CompuCom Systems, where he served as the company's chief digital officer and chief information officer. In this role, he led the CompuCom Digital business and was responsible for digital strategy, innovation, digital consulting services, digital buildings, product engineering and enterprise architecture. Before CompuCom, he led technology organizations across several industries, most recently as the vice president of enterprise architecture and technology innovation for Estée Lauder Companies. He also served as the regional chief information officer for Asia Pacific and Japan at Dell, based in Malaysia.
