Lululemon Sales Were Up During the Holidays: Maybe Yoga Is What You Need After Dealing with Your Family

Sales were even better than lululemon expected during the holiday shopping season and as a result the yoga wear company has raised its profit and revenue forecasts for Q4, expecting sales increases in the high single digit, compared with its previous forecast of mid-single digit, and sending the Canadian company's shares to their highest since June 2013.

Back in December, the company had seen the holiday season kick off well, with its highest traffic and largest sales ever on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

“We are thrilled with our performance this holiday season that reflects an accelerating trend across all parts of our business, and we look forward to continued momentum in 2018 and beyond,” said CEO Laurent Potdevin.

Lululemon does not break down revenue by geography, but gets a significant amount of its sales from the United States.
