Meijer will open two new supercenters in Indiana and Michigan on May 12, as well as host its first Sustainability Supplier Summit virtually June 20-23.
Meijer’s 155,000-square-foot supercenters in West Branch, MI and Fort Wayne, IN, will open on May 12.
“Local residents and new customers have been incredibly welcoming every time we open a store in our home state where the supercenter was born,” said Jason Beauch, Meijer regional VP. “Over the last two years, our store teams have helped families meet unprecedented challenges by providing fresh grocery options and supporting their pharmacy needs, so we look forward to opening the doors for our new neighbors in West Branch.”
Both supercenters will feature grocery, fresh produce, bakery, meat, and deli, as well as a floral area and garden center. Other departments will include pharmacy, pets, electronics, toys, sports, and apparel. A Meijer Express gas station adjacent to the new locations opened on April 14.
There are still select job openings for the new Meijer supercenters. Interested candidates can begin the hiring process by applying online at https://jobs.meijer.com/stores.
