Micros-Retail Introduces Apple-Friendly Mobile POS Solution
Micros-Retail has launched miStore, a new mobile point-of-sale solution that allows devices such as the iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad to communicate directly with a retailer's POS system.
Several leading retailers have begun the implementation process with miStore, which is built on Micros-Retail's flagship POS solution Xstore. The miStore solution works in conjunction with multiple magnetic stripe reader, one-dimensional and 2D scanner options to support a wide range of sales and inventory capabilities.
When integrated with Xstore POS, miStore provides real-time, consistent data during a mobile transaction. Its integration with back-end systems means that business rules and security parameters are identical, and that changes to the logic or configuration are reflected across both systems.
