Naturally Advanced Technologies Releases Pulp Test Results

10/6/2008
Naturally Advanced Technologies (NAT), a developer of proprietary technologies for the processing and production of environmentally sustainable fibers and other materials, recently announced detailed test results for its CRAILAR Advanced Materials Dissolving Pulp. According to NAT, the findings indicate that CRAILAR provides a high-grade dissolving pulp with high viscosity, brightness and alpha cellulose values, and low ash content and acetone extractives.

"These test results indicate that our CRAILAR can deliver cost effective natural fiber-based solutions for textile, pulp and paper and bioplastics applications," said NAT CEO Ken Barker. "We are looking forward to bringing CRAILAR's stream of  products to market beginning in 2009."
