Neiman Marcus Names New Chief Information Officer

Neiman Marcus has named Sarah Miller as its new chief information officer and SVP. Miller replaces Michael Kingston, who has left the retailer for the consulting world.

Miller joined Neiman Marcus in 2013 as VP, enterprise applications. Over the past three years, she has been a key leader in several transformational strategic initiatives including: NMG One, the brand's communication portal; the retailer's new warehouse management system; a new applicant tracking system; and RFID for Stores.

Miller's leadership and broad IT experience prior to joining NMG made her a perfect choice to lead the retailer's information services organization and advance its strategies through technology and digital innovation. In addition to holding IT leadership roles for Lowe’s Companies, Miller was the CIO for Nash Finch Company, a $5 billion retail and food distribution company based in Minneapolis. Miller began her career at IBM.

She holds a master of science degree in logistics and supply chain management from Wright State University, and a bachelor of science in mathematics and computer science from Meredith College.

Sarah reports directly to CEO Karen Katz.
