New Army Supports Injured Veterans

New Army, a recently launched label that donates part of its sales proceeds to injured veterans, made its debut on Veterans Day (November 11).

The company reports that it designs apparel with a lifestyle-casual look and feel, for easy transition from office casual to active athletic. The opening collection features apparel for men and women, including polo shirts, sweaters, and jackets. It also highlights green-friendly selections, with a fleece hoodie woven from fibers made from recycled plastic soda bottles.

The company was founded by Jeff Rock, a retired Army officer inspired from his service in Iraq and also by three subsequent years as a contractor who served the U.S. military.
