New SPUN Brand Puts Eco Spin on Women's Apparel

SPUN, a new brand of eco-friendly women's clothing, launched last year, with the goal of offering high quality, yet affordable, women's eco-fashion.

 

The company's products are made from 100 percent organic cotton, which is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), dyed using an environmentally friendly low-impact fiber reactive dye process, and made sweat-shop free in the United States.

 

The company, based in Mercer Island, Washington, also contributes 1 percent of annual sales to environmental organizations through 1% for the Planet, and is a member of the Organic Trade Association.
