Next Fashion Tech Forum Set for June in NYC

Influential and forward-thinking visionaries from the fashion, tech, digital, and design worlds will come together for the second annual Fashion Tech Forum on Thursday, June 11 at New York's Pier 36. Founder and CEO Karen Harvey will host the event for 700 of the most exceptional inventors, thinkers, founders, designers, investors and CEO's in fashion, retail, media and technology.

Karen Harvey said, "This year we will build on what was established in our last conference with some of the industry's most important and compelling business and creative leaders. The issues we are all now facing around wearable technology, the future of retail, personalization, sustainability and the need for transparency in company culture, will be the focus of this year's Fashion Tech Forum. Once again, we will bring together the most creative thinkers in fashion, tech, and retail to discuss these critical topics and to find new ways to collaborate on developing the most innovative and groundbreaking projects of the future."

Speakers will include Founder and CEO of Theory, Andrew Rosen; Into The Gloss/Glossier Founder and CEO Emily Weiss; Coach CEO Victor Luis; Nasty Gal CEO Sheree Waterson; Goop CEO Lisa Gersh; Steven Alan CEO Steven Alan; Shoes of Prey Founder Jodie Fox; CNN Anchor and Correspondent Poppy Harlow; LIKEtoKNOWit President Amber Venz; and Founder of Shinola Tom Kartsotis.

Additionally, Fashion Tech Forum will present the annual "Founders of the Future” Award. This Challenge is a key aspect of Fashion Tech Forum, and an opportunity for fashion tech startups to compete for mentorship, industry-wide exposure and a seed investment of $50,000 to be used to further their concept. The winners will receive extensive featured press coverage and six weeks of guidance from highly successful leaders from technology, fashion, retail, design, media, and finance. Also present will be last year's winner, Rank & Style, who were recently named one of Fast Company's Most Creative People.
