NRF 2012: Global Retail Forum Spotlights Fast-Growing Markets
Retail opportunities in two of the world's fastest-growing economies, India and Brazil, will be spotlighted during the NRF 2012 Big Show Global Retail Forum. Attendees will also get an update on how the mature retail market of Japan is faring after last year's natural and nuclear power disasters.
The Forum kicks off on Sunday, January 15 at 10:15 a.m. with Deloitte's Global Powers of Retailing study. The India spotlight, featuring Shoppers Stop vice chairman B.S. Nagesh, runs from 11 to 11:45 a.m. The Brazil focus, from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m., will include comments from Flavio Rocha, CEO of Lojas Riachuelo, the country's second-largest apparel retailer. The Japan update follows, from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m.
