Pacific Sunwear Provides a Seamless Multi-Channel Experience

Pacific Sunwear, an apparel, footwear and accessories retailer, is using Demandware Multichannel Commerce Solution to deliver a unified shopping experience across Web, mobile, tablet and brick-and-mortar stores. Powered by the Demandware Commerce platform, the solution will be rolled out across more than 700 stores in 50 states.
 
The use of digital channels by teens and young adults, the retailer's consumer base, has made it critical that the retailer be able to provide a multi-channel experience to its always-connected shoppers. To do this, PacSun has replaced its legacy platform with cloud-based Demandware Commerce platform.

As part of its strategy to extend the consumer shopping experience, the retailer has integrated Web and mobile into its stores. If a product is not available in a store, sales associates help consumers make purchases with tablets and shipping is included at no cost.
 
The retailer will now have a central platform for managing multiple consumer touchpoints and a seamless brand experience, pre-built integrations through Demandware LINK Marketplace such as social sign-in and product reviews, and an online community to collaborate and exchange ideas with partners, developers, employees and other clients. Personalization capabilities will also be available to create interactions with relevant product and content views based on gender, location or interests.
