PacSun Reveals How to Find Universal Commerce Success at NRF

The lines between in-store commerce, e-commerce, and mobile commerce have blurred. Universal Commerce has arrived – commerce that is integrated, personalized, secure, open and smart. Shoppers expect an integrated, quick, consistent, secure, and accessible buying experience wherever anywhere, at any time, on any device. Executives from Pacific Sunwear, McDonald's Group, IBM, Yankee Group and First Data will reveal ways that new and existing technology can be leveraged to enhance customer relationships as well as provide effective expense and partner-management strategies at an NRF breakout session on Sunday morning. 
Tim Katz, director of e-commerce operations for Pacific Sunwear, Nick Holland, principal analyst for Yankee Group, Alisa Maclin, vice president of marketing for IBM, and Melody Roberts, experience design innovation for McDonald's Corporation will join Dom Morea, senior vice president of First Data for the presentation, "Universal Commerce – Perpetuating the Consumer-Driven Emergence of Mobile Transactions" on Sunday, January 13 from 8:30-10 a.m. in the Javits Center's Room Hall A, 1A 10-14.

The session will offer insight on how retailers can compete successfully against new and existing entities in the Universal Commerce space.
