FiveStars, a loyalty program for local businesses, has partnered with the city of 
Palo Alto, CA for its “Made in Downtown Palo Alto” campaign. The VIP loyalty card is accepted at businesses in Downtown Palo Alto with nearly half of area retailers participating. Merchants can engage directly with customers through targeted e-mails and text message promotions, while customers can share their rewards on Facebook.
