The Pantry Announces Revenue Increases

The Pantry reports total revenues of $2.1 billion in the third quarter of 2007, a 24.8 percent increase from the same quarter of 2006. Net income was $12.6 million, compared to $20.3 million reported a year ago. The Pantry has acquired 152 convenience stores during the first three quarters of fiscal year 2007, as compared to a total of 113 stores acquired in 2006. The company has so far opened eight new large format stores in 2007 and plans to open approximately 16 for the full year.
