Perfecting an Omnichannel Ship-from-Store Solution

08/06/2013
Learn how Roots addressed its biggest concerns around culture and execution during a ship-from-store pilot, as well as its technology journey from fully customizing (by necessity) and existing platform to moving to a new technology platform that will better suit its objectives going forward. The initiative integrates the consumer-facing webstore into the in-store environment, allowing associates to use mobile or fixed POS to place orders for customers that are then shipped from any store location or distribution center.

James Connell, VP of e-commerce and marketing for Roots Canada, will share insights into the retailer's two-year pilot-to-rollout journey to perfect its omnichannel ship-from-store solution during a concurrent session on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the 2013 Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit.

The seventh annual Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit (CCRES) will be held September 25 – 27, 2013 at the Four Seasons in Dallas, Texas. The Cross-Channel event in conjunction with the Mobile Convergence Forum engages high-level retailers with thought-provoking keynote sessions and a series of concurrent workshops as well as intimate networking opportunities where retailers enjoy an ideal environment for sharing ideas and experiences with their peers.
