Polo Ralph Lauren reveals a string of merchandising initiatives that the company says it has benefitted from. According to Roger Farah, President & COO of Polo Ralph Lauren, the company is further exploring supply chain initiatives that would allow the company to capitalize on efficiencies without sacrificing quality or service levels. Farah reveals the company has built a new world class supply chain and logistics network as well as a constellation of management systems and corporate processes

"The net result is that on day one of the transition, our stores were open for business with our own new POS system," says Farah. They were set with spring merchandise and they were receiving goods from our distribution center daily."

The retailer also recently unveiled it is benefitting from a multi-year investment in its state-of-the-art online business which includes cutting edge technology, distribution, and customer service capabilities. The company has experienced a strong uptick in customers shopping online where traffic to RalphLauren.com continues to grow at a double-digit rate even as visitors to brick and mortar stores remain down.
