Progress Software Upgrades E-Commerce Platform

Progress Software upgrades its EasyAsk search, navigation and merchandising software in order to improve e-commerce performance. The 64-bit platform supports online catalogs that consist of several million items that can be searched, more easily found and purchased. In addition, cache performance allows the browser and online shoppers to experience a faster return to previously searched items. The size of the search index has been compressed by 30 percent so that less memory is required.
