Propper Awards TenCate Defense & Tactical $13M Order for Uniforms
TenCate Defense & Tactical, based in Union City, GA, has received a new $13 million order for TenCate Defender M fabric from Propper International, based in St. Charles, Missouri, for the manufacture of uniforms for the U.S. Marine Corp's Flame Resistant Organizational Gear (FROG) program - its largest single order to date for TenCate Defender M for this Marine program.
TenCate also manufactures flame-resistant fabrics for Army Aircrew Combat Uniforms (A2CU), Improved Combat Vehicle Coveralls (ICVC), Navy Shipboard Jackets, and Army Balaclavas.
The company continues to develop new protective products to meet the challenges posed by the IED's (Improvised Explosive Devices), rugged terrain and weather extremes of Iraq and Afghanistan.
