PVH Corp. announced a partnership with non-profit philanthropic organization Career Gear, which provides professional clothing, mentoring and life-skills to help economically disadvantaged men, challenging consumers to #GiveAShirt. This holiday season, between Nov. 3, 2014 and Jan. 4, 2015, every time a consumer uses the hashtag #GiveAShirt on any of their social channels – Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, PVH's Van Heusen division will donate a dress shirt to Career Gear, up to 10,000 shirts.

"The Van Heusen Institute of Style is dedicated to helping men across the country look and feel their best, and we are excited for a new chance to provide thousands of men with a head start on their career goals through our partnership with Career Gear," said Mike Kelly, executive vice president of Heritage Brands Marketing for PVH. "With this socially focused campaign, we have an opportunity to rally our consumers and make a difference in people's lives."

Van Heusen spokesmen and football legends Steve Young and Jerry Rice will be joined by former New York Giants running back David Wilson to launch the campaign via a full slate of earned and social media activations.

For fans who want to help pass it forward, simply tag a friend and use #GiveAShirt in your post and be automatically entered to win daily prizes, as well as a grand prize that includes a trip for two to New York to see a professional football game, a $500 Van Heusen gift card and autographed merchandise from Steve Young and Jerry Rice.

"The #GiveAShirt campaign and partnership with Van Heusen will mean so much to our organization," said Gary Field, founder and executive director of Career Gear. "Through this campaign we will be able to further our goal of providing professional clothing, mentoring and life skills to help men in poverty or need become role models and mentors to their families and communities."

As part of the campaign launch, Van Heusen will be the presenting sponsor of the Giants game against the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium on Mon., Nov. 3, 2014. Wilson will greet fans and conduct an autograph session on the MetLife Central stage from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Further, the campaign will be promoted through a marketing campaign across national print, digital and online advertisements.
