Retail 2020: Separating Fact from Fiction

By Tim Denman - 03/07/2016
Retail will change more in the next five years than in the last 50. It's not just about digital commerce or technologies, it's about customers. It's about meeting the expectations of Generations X, Y and Z.

At RetailTechCon 2016, Randy Cucerzan, senior director IT, enterprise services at Genesco Inc. will lead a thought-proving workshop that will raise questions and seek answers about ways retailers can prepare for the next steps in the inustry's evolution.

Cucerzan is responsible for IT support services including user support, store POS support for 1,300 stores, and telecom support in addition to managing related projects and coordinating IT strategic planning.  A Genesco Inc. retail veteran Randy started on the sales floor in a Genesco shoe store and has held various positions in store operations, marketing, merchandising, buying, and customs compliance before moving to IT to be the project manager leading the search and implementation of a buying and merchandising system to replace Genesco’s legacy system.

RetailTechCon 2016 will be held March 30-April 1, at the Ritz Carlton, Orlando, Florida. The conference features keynotes from retail leaders, peer-to-peer exchanges, relationship building, and a golf outing. For more information, to view the full agenda, or to register for the event click here.
