To RFID and Beyond

To be a true omnichannel retailer means to be omnichannel from the ground up. A top-down approach that focuses on in-store pickup of online orders, for example, will eventually lead to shopper disappointment when inventory levels routinely dip to 60-70% accuracy between audits.
Kent Kleeberger, COO for Chico's FAS, will expose how Chico's embarked on a multi-year omnichannel transformation that includes creating shared inventory, implementing item-level RFID with weekly audits, and building internal confidence to develop next-gen omnichannel strategies in the Closing Keynote presentation on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the 2013 Retail Executive Summit.
The twelfth annual Retail Executive Summit (RES) will be held June 19 – 21, 2013 at the Grand Del Mar in Del Mar, California. RES engages high-level retailers with thought-provoking keynote sessions and a series of concurrent workshops as well as intimate networking opportunities where retailers enjoy an ideal environment for sharing ideas and experiences with their peers.
