RIS Seeks Nominations for 2013 Mobile App Awards
RIS is seeking nominations for the fourth annual Mobile App of the Year Awards, which will be presented at the RIS Retail Technology Conference, April 10-12, at the Omni ChampionsGate in Orlando, FL. To nominate a retailer click here.
The RIS Mobile App of the Year Award recognizes retailers for outstanding achievement in delivering technological, operational, functional and overall excellence to shoppers and the enterprise through mobile devices. Last year's winners included Sears, Lowe's, Guess? and Cabela's, with functionalities ranging from enhancing CRM with Facebook data, providing store managers with access to key operational indicators and enhancing an omnichannel shopping experience for customers.
Nominees for the 2013 Mobile App of the Year Awards should have elements that make the app an exceptional example of the medium's capabilities, a track record of achieving proven results, originality compared to the rest of the marketplace, and an overall sense that it is a singular achievement that benefits shoppers and the retailer alike.
