rue21 Aims for Omnichannel With Epicor Store Upgrade

Customers of specialty apparel retailer rue21 will soon be able to partake in a new seamless and inspired shopping experience thanks to the brand’s latest
collaboration with Epicor Software Corporation, a provider of business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations.

One of the fastest-growing fashion retail brands in the country, rue21 offers the latest trends at a value through nearly 1,050 stores across 47 states. To support the company’s efforts to continue to better understand its customers’ needs and deliver a seamless omni-channel experience across both in-store and online channels, the company is upgrading to the latest version of Epicor Retail Store.

The Epicor flagship Point of Sale solution is designed to reduce checkout time and improve the customer experience to drive greater sales and loyalty.
Leveraging Epicor Retail Store, the brand will unify the customer experience across eCommerce and brick and mortar locations for simplified, streamlined operations, including returns management.

Following implementation of the upgraded version, customers will be able to easily return and exchange items regardless of the channel of purchase as store associates will have a single view of cross-channel transactions.

Epicor Retail Store will give rue21 the flexibility to offer customers even more value through a wide variety of promotional offers; and store associates will experience simplified at-the-register promotional processing, resulting in faster checkouts and improved productivity.
